Internships

Coeur d’Alene, ID | Gaston/Forest Grove, OR

As an intern at Stimson, you have an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning. Our intern program integrates classroom education with practical application in the forest. You’ll be ready to step up to new challenges confidently. You could find yourself in a position for other opportunities within the company.

We typically hire interns during the months of May – August or June – September in our Regeneration departments. You get to experience what it’s like to work in the field and with hands-on activities including stand surveys in a variety of reforestation age classes and other general forestry work. Daily job sites will vary, and a company vehicle will be provided.
